Discussion on Next Generation Lasers for High Energy Density Science (HEDS)

June 9, 2022
Virtual Meeting
Free Live Streaming Worldwide!

Many countries and institutions world-wide are considering what new lasers may be built for High Energy Density Science (HEDS) including for science involving high intensity and high energy light or for Inertial Confinement Fusion. The virtual international forum, sponsored by Matter and Radiation at Extremes (MRE) will engage four experts from US, Europe and Asia with each presenting views and background information. The focus will be on the potential large scale lasers of the future. After brief presentations of views there will be discussion among the experts and audience questions.

MRE forum will start on June 9th, 2022, at 20:00 Beijing time/8:00 EDT/14:00 Paris time/12:00 GMT
